The Simba × Arya pairing
The Simba × Arya pairing is not a random combination of two pedigrees.
Both come from established European Doberman lines, but individual branches of their pedigrees developed through different kennels and matings. Their ancestry includes, among others, Pride of Russia, di Perlanera, Ginga House, del Nasi, de Grande Vinko and delle Querce Nere.
One common foundation of both pedigrees is Pride of Russia Sidor, who appears on Simba's side through the Taymir line and on Arya's side through Shaytan. The relationship, however, lies further back in the pedigree, not in the closest generations.
The aim of this pairing is to combine two complementary branches of the European Doberman and to keep the traits we care about: breed-typical appearance, stable temperament, confidence, good working ability, and sound construction and movement.
A known pedigree alone is not enough for us. When planning a litter, the parents' temperament, structure and movement also matter. A pedigree shows the potential and the breeding history, but how that potential is used depends on the choice of the specific pairing.
Below are four generations of Arya's and Simba's ancestors.
